The City of Arcadia’s free 2019 summer concert and movie series is here. The summer concerts and movies are both on Thursday evenings. Concerts start at 6:30 p.m. and movies at dusk on the west lawn between City Hall and the Police Department (240 W. Huntington Drive). There is also a free fun zone for kids, featuring games, crafts, and activities each week. In addition, there will be food and beverages available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds will be given to the Recreation and Community Services Department.  Please note parking is provided at City Hall and Santa Anita Race Track at Gate 5 only. For more information, please call (626) 574-5113. Below is the line-up for July 18, 2019.

Mark Easterday Band (country)

Mark Easterday plays today’s popular, upbeat country songs by such artists as Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton and more.  Mark has been known to turn country music skeptics into fans. Plan to stomp your feet.

Smallfoot – (PG)

An animated adventure for all ages, with original music and an all-star cast, “Smallfoot” turns the Bigfoot legend upside down when a bright young Yeti finds something he thought didn’t exist – a human. News of this “smallfoot” throws the simple Yeti community into an uproar over what else might be out there in the big world beyond their snowy village. It’s a story about friendship, courage and the joy of discovery.
