The award-winning San Gabriel Valley Choral Company (SGVCC) invites the public to attend “Stage to Screen,” a celebration of musicals that have been turned into films, on Saturday at 7:30 pm at the stunning historic architectural landmark, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Monrovia.

The choir will perform selections from Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim’s masterpiece “West Side Story,” numbers from Rodgers and Hammerstein (including medleys from ‘The Kind and I” and “South Pacific”) and others.

SGVCC is conducted by the highly regarded Artistic Director Dr. Alexandra Grabarchuk, whose bio can be found at alexgrabarchuk.com.

Tickets are $20 for general admission, $15 for seniors and students, and $5 for children under 12. Tickets may be purchased online at:  bit.ly/2X7pRwB or sgvcc.yapsody.com/event/index/416246/sgvcc-presents-stage-to-screen or by sending checks as soon as possible payable to “SGVCC” to P.O. Box 2225 Monrovia, CA 91017. Tickets will also be available at the door. SGVCC is committed to welcoming all music lovers regardless of ability to pay full ticket price.
