World Harvest is a local non-profit working to educate and empower children around the world. It is doing the same thing locally working with approximately 25 local children by teaching them to become entrepreneurs. These youngsters from kindergarten-age through eighth grade have started their own businesses or stores.

On Sunday, at the headquarters of World Harvest (139 W. Palm Ave., across from Library Park) these young people are holding a fair from 1-4 p.m. Some will be selling the products they have produced and other will be offering their services. According to the organizers, there will be 10-12 booths on the lawn. A part of the proceeds raised by the fair will be donated to the work of World Harvest in other nations.

The youngsters have been divided into teams with prizes to be awarded to the winning teams. These prizes have been sponsored by Snip-Its, Rockin’ Jump in San Dimas, OfficeZilla, and Wells Fargo Bank.
