The City of Arcadia’s free 2019 summer concert and movie series is approaching fast, so make sure you don’t miss out on the fun. The summer concerts and movies are both on Thursday evenings. Concerts start at 6:30 p.m. and movies at dusk on the west lawn between City Hall and the Police Department (240 W. Huntington Drive). There is also a free fun zone for kids, featuring games, crafts, and activities each week. In addition, there will be food and beverages available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds will be given to the Recreation and Community Services Department.  Parking is provided at City Hall and Santa Anita Race Track at Gate 5 only. For more information, call (626) 574-5113. Below is the line-up for June 20, 2019.

Stone Soul

Stone Soul is an eight-piece, horn-blowing, foot-stomping classic soul and Motown band that has built a reputation as one of the hardest-working, most entertaining bands around. With their snazzy suits and spot-on renditions of classic soul and Motown hits, Stone Soul will have you dancing to smash hits from Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops and more.

Hotel Transylvania 3

The monster family embarks on a vacation on a luxury monster cruise ship so that Drac can take a summer vacation from providing everyone else’s vacation at the hotel, and they indulge in all of the shipboard fun the cruise has to offer.
