It has been busy at the Veterans Resource Center (VRC) over the past year. Staff and volunteers have helped 1,920 veterans and their family members connect with benefits they earned through years of service.
Volunteers trained by Cal-Vet have provided 760 service hours to veterans and their families, connecting them with resources and the larger community. VetNow, an online resource that offers live interview coaching and a 24/7 resume lab that helps build job skills, has had 1,022 sessions.
For more information, contact Mabel Cross, adult services librarian, at (626) 256-8262 or email mcross@ci.monrovia.ca.us, or drop by and visit the VRC at the Library.
