Wild Rose Students Present ‘Lion King Kids’ for Spring Production

Wild Rose School of Creative Arts students will impress the audience with their spring production of Disney’s “Lion King Kids” at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 19 at the Louise K. Taylor Performing Arts Center (845 W. Colorado Blvd., Monrovia). The school is partnering on the production with Center Theatre Group and Disney Musicals in Schools. The cast features 50 student actors who will sing and dance to such songs as “Circle of Life” and “I Just Can’t Wait to be King.”

As part of the school’s Disney Musicals in Schools grant, Wild Rose students have trained with theater professionals to prepare for the spring production. Professional training included instruction in choreography, tech and stage management, lighting, and sound.

Tickets are $5 for children and $10 for adults – children under 3 are free. Purchase tickets here, or at the door one hour before the show.
