LASD seeking victim’s stolen 2005 Lexus
By Terry Miller
Sheriff’s homicide detectives continue to investigate what they deem as a “suspicious death” at a home on the 300 block of East Forest Avenue in Arcadia. According to detectives on scene Tuesday, a construction worker doing some work at the home found the body of an elderly female at around 7 a.m. outside the house in the garden.
The construction worker immediately contacted Arcadia PD to investigate, who in turn contacted the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.
An older cocker spaniel was removed from the house due to the heat. Animal control was called to assist with the dog’s well-being.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death has yet to be disclosed. The victim was identified as Chyong Jen Tsaia on Wednesday by the Los Angeles Coroner. Authorities are searching for the victim’s car at this point in connection with the murder. The vehicle is a 2005 white Lexus RX 300 with California license plate: 5LOG473.

There is no additional information available at this time.
