Leadership Pasadena Adds Joe Lumarda to Advisory Council

Leadership Pasadena (LP) is honored to announce Joe Lumarda has joined the Leadership Pasadena’s Advisory Council.

Joe is a Senior VP and Investment Counselor for Capital Group Private Client Services. Prior to joining the Capital Group, Joe served the community as VP for development, executive VP and COO of the California Community Foundation. Joe is also a member of the California Wellness Foundation, Southern California Grantmakers, Asian Americans Advancing Justice and St. Joseph Healthcare Foundation. Joe is also a U.S. Navy veteran.

“It’s great to be part of the good work of Leadership Pasadena. The work LP is doing training returning veterans is ensuring a pipeline of community leaders for the next generation,” according to Mr. Lumarda.

“We are honored to have Joe join our Advisory Council to help guide our emerging Community Leadership Course for Veterans. He is a renowned and admired leader in the philanthropy world with vast knowledge of non-profit programming and sustainability as well as being an expert in the financial and investment industry,” per Leadership Pasadena’s Chair of the Board of Directors Josh Driskell.

Cindy Bengtson of Leadership Pasadena added that Joe also has expert knowledge on multi-generational leadership and giving and trains the veterans in Leadership Pasadena’s leadership course on this topic, “We are so grateful for Joe’s help and support.”
