Arcadia Stage is proud to present Les Misérables at the Arcadia Performing Arts Center on March 14, 15 and 16. Based on the book by Victor Hugo, Les Misérables is a Tony Award winning musical set in early 19th century France and tells the story of Jean Valjean and his desire for redemption after serving 19 years in jail. Despite his desire to start his life anew, Valjean is relentlessly hunted by a police inspector named Javert. Ten years later, Valjean finds himself an adoptive father to the beautiful Cosette, who falls in love with Marius, an idealistic revolutionary who plots with his fellow students to overthrow the government at a street barricade. Javert is still hunting Valjean and so Valjean must keep his true identity a secret from everyone, including his daughter Cosette as she prays for Marius’ safe return from the dangers of the barricade. This tragically beautiful story is sure to inspire and delight audiences of all ages. Le Misérables is a beloved classic and a timeless tale of love, courage, redemption, and forgiveness.

Director Steven Volpe, Musical Director Stephen Pu, and Choreographer Jean Michelle Sayeg lead the talented cast of Arcadia High School students featuring Brady Stubbs as Jean Valjean, Joseph Ganley as Javert, Dominique Stellern as Cosette, and Derrik Griggs as Marius.
