Action Arts Movement Lab, a partner school of Dance Conservatory of Pasadena, is a new 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses its classes and program content on all forms of contemporary dance, physical narrative and musical theater.

While Dance Conservatory of Pasadena continues its tradition and commitment to classical and contemporary ballet techniques, Action Arts will focus its programming on a contemporary/commercial training and career track. It will also provide the necessary and essential building blocks for students and aspiring artists interested in pursuing careers in dance theater, musical theater, cinema and cirque.

Action Arts can also function as a black box performance space that is ideal for the creation, rehearsal and presentation of all forms of physical theater and dramatic arts. In addition to weekly classes and programs, Action Arts artistic staff and invited guest artists will host master classes, workshops and intensives throughout the year.
