Mark your calendar for Feb. 19, for a program to be presented by the Monrovia League. A talk will be given about Route 66 by Claudia Heller and her husband Alan. They traveled this route and Claudia has written a book entitled, “Road to California: Accounts Along the Mother Road to California.” Their travels and experiences along this route led to the writing. Members of the Monrovia League are encouraging others in the community to attend this exciting program about Route 66.

A little history about the league is that they have been in Monrovia for over 60 years. It was founded by a group of civic minded women of all ages, who were committed to philanthropic needs in the city and it is still a working group in the community.

Come and enjoy this wonderful program and a trip on Route 66. This event will be taking place at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church- Parish Hall. The church is located at Foothill and California in Monrovia. Refreshments will be available 9:30 a.m. and the presentation of the program at 10 a.m.
