Nothing could be better with the rainy weather we’ve been having than going to see a fun, upbeat musical like “Singin’ in the Rain”. On Valentines weekend, Judson International School will present this beloved musical at Porticos Theater, directed by Maren Plog. Show times are Feb. 14-16 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 16 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are available online at Brown Paper Tickets.
Judson’s show has a cast of 28 students ranging from 6th to 12th grade. Director Maren Plog said of the show, “You won’t want miss this classic romantic musical comedy filled with catchy songs, tap dancing, and plenty of laughter set in 1920’s Hollywood during the dawn of the ‘talkies’!” This show was Judson’s fifth musical and part of a very successful musical theater. Principal Diana Bjoraker commented, “This show is a fine example of the excellent quality and breadth of education offered by Judson International School.”
