Children and their families are invited to a Chinese New Year celebration at the Arcadia Public Library (APL) on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 2:30 p.m. This year’s celebration will be the Year of the Pig with fun stories, activities, and a festive craft.

On Saturday Feb. 2 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., drop by the Library’s Art Market and receive special APL dollars to purchase supplies to make crafts in celebration of the Lunar New Year. All materials provided while supplies last.

Both programs are for children of all ages, however, younger children must be accompanied by an adult to help them with the Art Market crafts.

For more information, please call (626) 821-5566 or visit the Arcadia Public Library’s website at ArcadiaCA.gov/library.

The Arcadia Public Library is located at 20 W. Duarte Road. The library is open Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
