Craig Shoemaker Beckons in the New Year in Pasadena

The Ice House Comedy Club is always the place to be on New Year’s Eve and this year is really going out with a bang when the “Lovemaster” Craig Shoemaker takes the stage to bid adieu to 2018. In addition to Shoemaker, Eric Schwartz (“The Tonight Show,” Showtime, BET) and KT Tatara (“Last Comic Standing,” Comedy Central) will ring in 2019 with laughs.

Best known for his engaging, relatable standup and iconic baritone-voiced character, Shoemaker’s extensive accomplishments, spanning more than three decades, are beyond impressive. He has performed for major television and cable networks, writes for the hit sitcom “Fuller House,” has been a radio guest on countless stations, hosted his own syndicated radio and podcast shows, has performaned on Broadway, has written two children’s books, invented “ON Hold” advertising and hosted motivational presentations and speeches; all with audiences ranging from 50 to over 70,000 people.

Craig has a big heart with a brilliant mind attached to it. He is not just interesting, he is interested. Watching, learning and understanding people have been a life-long fascination for him. With the wisdom and insight of an old soul, his focal point is laughter.

Tatara has been charming audiences with his extraordinary blend of wit and likability for over 15 years. A Washington D.C. native and former resident of West Virginia, Tatara possesses an uncanny ability to connect with people from urban and rural backgrounds. His numerous television appearances include NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” FOX’s “Lethal Weapon” and CBS’s “How I Met Your Mother.” He has also been invited to perform at the prestigious Just For Laughs festival five times.

There is a two-drink minimum in the showroom and patrons must be at least 21 to attend. The Ice House is located at 24 N. Mentor Ave. in Pasadena.
