Who won the battle of the badges? Monrovia Police outscored Monrovia Fire and Rescue, but the real winner was the American Cancer Society who was the recipient of the proceeds from the non-grudging grudge match.
Monrovia Police Chief Alan Sanvictores came prepared for a siege, but Fire chief Brad Dover was prepared for his firefighters to set the gym a blaze. Unfortunately, they were not quite able to ignite the night.
