Jennifer Kwan, a data entry clerk for the Monrovia Unified School District has written her first book. Appropriately for a school district employee it is a children’s book. The book entitled “Do Your Part with a Big Heart,” is the story of how Oxy the Octopus must change schools and has to learn to fit in.
Kwan will be sharing her book with patrons of Vroman’s bookstore this Sunday, Nov. 25 at 11 a.m. She will be giving a reading of the book at that time. With Christmas just around the corner, it is time to start thinking about gifts for the children and grandchildren. This warm and heartwarming story is a great gift for young children with a positive message for young readers.
