InnovateLA is a two-week long celebration of the breadth of innovation and creativity within Los Angeles County. From cleantech to gaming, aerospace to digital media and beyond, Los Angeles is a leading global center for innovation and entrepreneurship. InnovateLA helps showcase the exciting things happening here with a series of events, lectures, and talks all over L.A.

The Oak Crest Institute of Science in Monrovia (132 W. Chestnut Ave.) is opening its doors and laboratories for a hands-on, kid-friendly event and laboratory tour on Nov. 9 from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m., featuring cutting-edge science activities to show how biomedical and chemical principles impact our everyday lives. See how the Oak Crest team puts ideas and action into innovative applications, educating students on how to do cutting-edge science, and supporting the local community through outreach.
Tickets are $12 through Eventbrite or $15 at the door. Kids are free with an adult ticket. Pizza and soda is included with your ticket purchase.

This event is presented in partnership between the City of Monrovia and MADIA Tech Launch, Inc. MADIA is a career, company, and industry incubator, providing educational services to the region’s technical, scientific and industrial workforce.
