In honor of being a service to those in need, Centerplate at the Pasadena Convention Center will prepare up to 300 turkeys Nov. 19-20 to support Union Station Homeless Services Dinner in the Park event Thursday, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The event will take place at Pasadena Central Park and feeds over a thousand people thanks to the help of volunteers and generous key partners.

“We are proud to once again have the Pasadena Convention Center and Centerplate lend its support to Union Station Homeless Services by preparing turkeys for those in need of a nourishing meal,” said Michael Ross, CEO of Pasadena Center Operating Company. “We applaud Union Station’s work to serve thousands of meals to those less fortunate during the holiday season and are pleased to participate in such a giving cause.”

Over the years, Centerplate has played an integral role in servicing a variety of meetings, events and conventions at the Pasadena Convention Center and Civic Auditorium. Highlighted 2018 events include the 49th Annual NAACP Image Awards, the Daytime Emmy Awards, Methodist Hospital Gala and most recently, the globally recognized COSPAR scientific assembly which welcomed 3,000 attendees over seven days to the property.

Most recently, Centerplate hired Brandon Barousse, CDM as the new Executive Chef to lead its food and beverage offerings.
