Two new science companies have entered Monrovia’s thriving biotech and science ecosystem. Partnering with LabLaunch, Quantum Screening and OCGene Therapeutics have set up shop in Monrovia.
Quantum Screening is focused on saliva-based early detection diagnostics. According to LabLaunch, Quantum Screening is a biotech startup focused on “the commercialization of revolutionary rapid point of care tests for infectious diseases and cancer.” Meanwhile, OCGene Therapeutics is developing cancer therapeutics.
In addition to bringing in new companies, LabLaunch has added new equipment to their state-of-the-art laboratories. Just last week, they doubled the capacity of their shared tissue culture facility.
