Pasadena ArtNight’s second annual event will be on Friday, Oct. 12. You may be surprised to know that there is a new stop added to the already distinguished list of museums and historic places that will be opened to the public for this special event. Attendance is expected to be in the thousands. There will be free shuttles and free admissions to over 15 museums and artistic institutions. This art affair comes only twice a year, making it one of the most exciting experiences of a night in the city. Discover Pasadena ArtNight and enjoy all of the wonderful destinations that will be anticipating your visit.
The evening will consist of free shuttles designated to board passengers with routes stopping at all the locations participating during this amazing experience throughout the night. Places like the Jackie Robinson Community Center, Pasadena City Hall and the newest addition, The Edmund Blinn House, are venues featured on the list of official stops. The Women’s City Club of Pasadena (WCC) will be making their debut as the new official stop on the list of places you may visit during Pasadena ArtNight.
The Historic Edmund Blinn House was built in 1906 and is located at 160 N. Oakland Ave. If you add this destination to your list of stops it will not be disappointing. The WCC has partnered with the Pasadena Symphony for the special occasion and this stop will feature more than live music. There will be an art reception titled “Rise Up!,” an art exhibition with Alverno, La Salle and Westridge High Schools. The WCC will also be featuring interactive art experiences and plenty of art installations to admire. The Blinn House alone is an artform of architectural beauty; however, when you combine it with live music and special featured art exhibits, the experience will be memorable.

Enjoy a free night of live music, art and entertainment in the City of Pasadena. Many of the official stops will also be featuring L.A. County’s favorite food trucks and did I already mention free designated shuttles with special routes to take you to all the official ArtNight stops? Some of the official destinations also included are places like the Norton Simon Museum, The Pasadena Central Library, The Gamble House and Parson’s Nose Theater. Many of the art museums and historic places will be operating outside their normal business hours, making Pasadena ArtNight the more special.
The event will be from 6 – 10 p.m. on Friday Oct. 12 in the City of Pasadena. You can start exploring the City of Roses at any official ArtNight stop where a free shuttle will bring you right back where you initially started.
