Celebrate the Fall Season With Free Events in Monrovia
With the leaves turning crisp and the weather cooling down, community members have a plethora of events and activities to look forward to. All are encouraged to visit cityofmonrovia.org to view the calendar of all events taking place this season.
Old Town Fall Festival
On Oct. 13, from 12 – 6 p.m., the City of Monrovia, Monrovia Old Town Advisory Board and Old Town Merchants will present the Old Town Fall Festival. There will be music in Old Town, a Canyon Park Plant Sale in Library Park, fall crafts, face painting, and hay wagon rides beginning at 2 p.m. for $2 per person. For furry friends, there will be a pet agility course in Library Park and a Community Dog Costume Parade through Old Town.
Trick-or-Treat & Halloween Bash
On Oct. 31, from 3 – 6 p.m., the City of Monrovia and the Monrovia Old Town Merchants will host the Annual Trick or Treat and Halloween Bash. The afternoon will be filled with ghoulish fun for the entire family. At 3 p.m., attendees can begin to register for the free costume contest that will be held in Library Park. Also, furry friends are invited to register for the Dog Costume Contest. This is a rain or shine event. In the event of rain, the costume contest will be held in the community center.
