The Red Cross will be holding blood drives in Arcadia and Pasadena from Sept. 27 to Oct. 15 in order to help patients who are affected by Hurricane Florence.

As the American Red Cross responds to Hurricane Florence, providing food, shelter and comfort to those affected, individuals outside the affected areas are urged to help by giving blood or platelets to care for patients in the storm’s path and across the country, the Red Cross said. People can also help by making a financial donation to support relief efforts.

Below are blood drive locations in the city of Arcadia:

  • Oct. 1 from 2 – 7 p.m., The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, 1881 S. 1st Avenue.
  • Oct. 10 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Los Angeles County Agricultural Commission, 12300 Lower Azusa Road.
  • Oct. 15 from 2 – 7 p.m., The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration.
