How do you feel about the higher gas taxes? Would you like California to go on year-round Daylight Savings Time? Should we be providing more housing for individuals with mental illness?

These are just three of the issues on the Nov. 6 General Election ballot. The League of Women Voters (LWV) Pasadena Area will decipher all 11 ballot measures at a public forum, Hot Topics, Cold Facts, on Oct. 4 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the Women’s City Club, located at 160 N. Oakland Ave.

The team of LWV Pasadena Area Pro and Con speakers, led by Robbie Davis, will present the background, details on each proposal, fiscal effects, supporter and opponent statements and who’s spending money on both sides.

Breakfast will be available at 9 a.m. for $25. The program alone is free. Reservations for both are required. Register online at lwv-pa.org or calling (626) 798-0965.
