The Sierra Madre Playhouse will be having a staged reading of the play “Vombodian Women from Outer Space,” Sunday Sept. 30 at 7 p.m.

Director and co-writer Barry Schwam describes the play as, “Fun, and G-rated, mostly.”

In this play Amazon women from the planet Voombodia come to Earth seeking male humanoids because it is the only thing they eat. The women of Earth must gather together to save their men and the planet.

The cast includes Steve Cipriani, Derek Coleman, Erin Sloan, Steven Fiorillo, Alison Kalmus, Rachel McLaughlan, Heidi Motzkus, Jim Follett and Rich Cassone.

The Sierra Madre Playhouse is located at 87 W. Sierra Madre Blvd., Sierra Madre, CA 91024.
