Many parents fear that their children will be bullied and wonder how they will cope with it. The Arcadia Public Library’s Children’s Department is offering a special program that will help children ages three to 10 develop interpersonal skills and self-confidence. Children will enjoy stories and participate in team-building activities that encourage looking for, and celebrating, what they have in common with the people in their lives. The program is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29, at 2:30 p.m. in the Jerry Broadwell Children’s Room.
For more information, call (626) 821-5566 or visit the Arcadia Public Library’s website. The Arcadia Public Library is located at 20 W. Duarte Rd. The library is open Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. You can also follow the Library on Facebook and Twitter.
