The City of Monrovia will be hosting a Mastering Water Efficient Landscapes workshop on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at the Monrovia Community Center. Offered by the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) and sponsored by the City of Monrovia, Metropolitan Water District, Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District, and Three Valleys Municipal Water District, this landscape training focuses on mastering the basic elements of water efficient landscaping for new California landscapes.

Landscape designers, architects, contractors, and anyone interested in creating and maintaining water efficient landscapes should attend. The workshop will cover all the essential elements to help you comply with the California’s Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance (MWELO), design, build, and maintain healthy, water efficient landscapes for California’s new normal.

This workshop is free to all who pre-register and attend. To participate in the workshop register with CLCA at clca.org and place a $50 deposit on the workshop. Be forewarned, the deposit becomes non-refundable if participants do not attend the workshop, attend less than 90 percent of the workshop, or if the workshop is cancelled within 10 days of the workshop date. Upon full attendance at the workshop, participants will receive their $50 deposit back.
