A 38-year-old Pasadena man was sentenced to prison, Sept. 7, for arson.

Greg Risling from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office told Beacon Media that the man, Kristoffer Eugene Caldwell, was sentenced at the Pasadena Superior courthouse to four years in state prison for the crime.

After his initial court appearance where he pleaded not guilty, “Coldwell pleaded no contest to one count of arson of a structure or forest,” Risling stated.

Caldwell was initially identified as a potential suspect at the scene of the crime, 30 W. Mountain on Aug. 1.
