Who Will Take Care of Your Kids if Something Happens to You?
Attend a free workshop on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. in the Sierra Madre Public Library led by attorney Marc G. Garlett. Each participant will leave with fully executed documents naming legal guardians for their minor children – plus a free gift.
Discover common mistakes parents make when naming guardians, how to choose the right guardians, how to make sure your assets are available to the guardians, and why a will alone is not enough.
Teen Volunteers in the Children’s Room will be available to help watch children of attendees.
Couples should sign up and attend together, as they will be able to take home a free completed document, but, only if both parents are present and sign the document at the workshop. If you are the sole legal guardian, you may attend by yourself.
Pre-register by calling the Sierra Madre Public Library at (626) 355-7186.
The Sierra Madre Public Library is located at 440 W. Sierra Madre Blvd. Sierra Madre, CA 91024.
