Arcadia Senior Services in partnership with Methodist Hospital is having its annual Health Fair, “Catch the Wellness Wave” on Friday, Sept. 21. It will take place at the Arcadia Community Center, 365 Campus Drive. There will be information booths and health screenings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Two health screenings need appointments; a $7 carotid artery screening and a free hearing test. These appointments can be made by calling Arcadia Senior Services (626) 574-5130.
Additional free screenings are blood pressure, bone density, pulmonary function test, and more. There will be healthy food samples, vendors, giveaways and educational sessions including Dr. Rodrigo Rodriguez, Neurologist, speaking on, “Stroke, Alzheimer’s and Dementia,” from 12-1pm.
