Photo Contest at Arcadia Public Library
Where in the world is your library card?
September is Library Card Month and Arcadia Public Library is celebrating with a photo contest for adults and teens ages 13 and up.
Take your Arcadia Public Library card with you on a trip during September—as far away as you can. Take a picture of yourself, friends, or family with your card. Tell the Library where you are and post it on social media. Tag the Library using #WhereismyAPLcard. The picture taken the farthest away from Arcadia Public Library will win a prize.
Don’t have an Arcadia Public Library card? Stop by anytime the Library is open, bring two forms of ID, and get your card then and there. During the month of September, children and adults will receive a small gift for getting a library card, while supplies last.
Entries into the “Where in the world is my library card?” contest are due before Oct. 5. The winner will be announced Oct. 10 and will have until Oct. 30 to pick up the prize.
