Preferred option developed for consideration
During the past several weeks, Monrovia Old Town Advisory Board (MOTAB) has been working to assess different logos options for Old Town. Based on feedback received from members of the board and Old Town merchants, the proposed logo is now being advanced for consideration.
During the next few weeks, city staff and MOTAB representatives will be reaching out to additional merchants in Old Town to receive feedback on the proposed updated logo, with the proposed item set to be formally considered by MOTAB in September 2018. Given the inherent difficulties in developing consensus on design and logo related issues, kudos are in order for city staff – especially Tina Cherry and Katie Distelrath – for the way that they have managed this overall process.
