Members and friends of the Rotary Club of Pasadena will gather Thursday, Aug. 16, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. for a “Taste of Rotary.” Under the leadership of President Mary Lou Byrne and Committee Co-Chairs Colleen Carey and President-Elect Scott Vandrick, guests will enjoy a summer evening filled with delicious food, art, jazz, wine, and friendship.

This event will take place at the Maxwell House located at 55 S. Grand Ave., Pasadena, CA 91105. Fundraising activities include art for sale by local artists from the Mid Valley Art League, and a live auction. Open to the public, this event raises funds to support local community projects of the Pasadena Rotary Club such as Holiday Bikes for Kids, Adopt-A-School, Done-In-A-Day, Toy Drive, RYAL-Teen Leadership, and many more. Tickets for this event are available at pasadenarotary.com. Tickets are $75. Sponsorship opportunities are available and range from $250 – $1,000. Please email Scott Vandrick for details at sav6699@me.com

The Pasadena Rotary Club has over 200 members, who meet weekly at the University Club in Pasadena, dedicated to contributing to the well-being and growth of the community, region, and world. Initiatives include Happy Feet (providing shoes at the start of a school year for PUSD elementary school students), Dan Stove Music Contest, Four-way Speech Contest, community grants, Project Corazon Super Build, and Teachers of Excellence to name a few.  To find out more information on the Rotary Club of Pasadena, visit pasadenarotary.com or call (626) 440-0908.
