In Monrovia there are a great many things to do in the summer months. With summer half over it is time to review:

Saturday Concerts at Station Square from 7 – 8:30 p.m.:

  • July 28 – The Answer, Classic Rock
  • August 4 – Upstream, Reggae
  • August 11 – Cold Duck, Motown Soul
  • August 18 – Kellye Huff Band, Country
  • August 25 – Boxcar 7, Jazz

Sunday Concerts in Library Park at the Rotary Bandshell 7 – 8:30 p.m.:

  • July 29 – AD & The Soul Co., Blues & Soul
  • August 5 – Just Dave Band, Country/Folk
  • August 12 – The Nolan Shaheed Quintet, Jazz
  • August 19 – Disney Tribute Band, Children’s Music
  • August 26 – Yachty By Nature, Yacht Rock Band 70s & 80s

Movies in the park- the location varies by date:

  • July 28 – “The Sandlot” at Recreation Park (740 E. Olive Ave., Monrovia, CA 91016)
  • August 4 – “Back to the Future” at Library Park (321 S. Myrtle Ave., Monrovia, CA 91016)
  • August 11 – “Coco” at Kiwanis Park at Grand Avenue (340 N. Grand Ave., Monrovia, CA 91016)
