There has recently been some turnover for the LimeBike operations team, which has contributed to increased time before bikes get rebalanced. Given the turnover, LimeBike’s staff at Cal State Northridge, which is LimeBike’s next closest partner agency, will be visiting every other day to help rebalance bikes. Those at the City and at LimeBike apologize for any inconveniences this has caused.
LimeBike is now looking to recruit someone to take the lead in Monrovia when it comes to all things LimeBike related. The company is currently hiring an on-the-ground operations specialist who is responsible for collecting the bikes and rebalancing them in Old Town, along business corridors, in residential areas, and at Station Square. If you or someone you know is interested in applying, the job flyer is on the Monrovia website under the City Manager’s weekly update. The position pays $15 an hour. You can send your resume, along with a short blurb about why you’re interested in the job, to Vany Jourian (vany@limebike.com).
While they look for a new local operations specialist for Monrovia, if you see an issue with a LimeBike feel free to call senior administrative assistant Sophia Nakov at (626) 256-8235, and the issue will be resolved as soon as possible.
