The Pasadena Museum of History (PMH) invites the public to enjoy free admission to the exhibition “Dreaming the Universe: The Intersection of Science, Fiction, & Southern California” on July 22, from noon – 5 p.m.

This community free-day also features theatrical readings from “Martians – An Evening with Ray Bradbury” (based on The Martian Chronicles) at 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. by Arcane Theater Works. Science fiction themed crafts will provide interactive fun for young visitors throughout the afternoon.

“Dreaming the Universe” explores how the literary genre interacted with the advances of science, the changes in technology, and shifts in American society during five pivotal decades, the 1930s to the 1980s. It will be on view at PMH through Sept. 2.
