Innovate Pasadena Celebrates Five Years
When it comes to innovation and Southern California, Pasadena has strengthened its position as a competitive tech and innovation cluster in recent years. This month marks a momentous and celebratory occasion as Innovate Pasadena celebrates its five-year anniversary and new resources are launched to attract further investment, business, and talent to the city.
On June 27 Innovate Pasadena will celebrate its five-year anniversary. As a volunteer-led, nonprofit organization, Innovate Pasadena has helped to connect and grow Pasadena’s thriving innovation community through initiatives that support entrepreneurship and STEAM education, and attract businesses and capital to Pasadena. The milestone will be celebrated with a tech and innovation mixer at CTRL Collective, a co-working space, and will feature sustainably-sourced foods from Mary Lee Kitchen, local brews from Craftsman Brewing, and giant games provided by Joy Mode. The public is invited to help celebrate. RSVP’s are required, to register go to ip-5years.eventbrite.com.
To further promote Pasadena as a premiere location for business, the City of Pasadena Economic Development Team recently developed a new ad campaign aimed at attracting and retaining business and talent. In tandem with the ad campaign, a content-rich website has launched with features to help site selectors and prospective companies and talent explore, grow, and connect with the City of Roses. Part call to action and part tagline, futureyourselfhere.com features content such as key industries, demographics, economic indicators, business resources, education, workforce, and fast facts for Pasadena.
The event is from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at CTRL Collective, located at 45 South Arroyo Parkway.
