Camino Grove Elementary School Hosts Arcadia High Graduates

Arcadia High School seniors, who donned their caps and gowns, went back to the future to their former elementary schools to do a graduation run to inspire the next generation of young people.
The extremely vocal and excited elementary school children at Camino Grove were thrilled to see the big seniors right before they head off to graduation and college. The elementary pupils made signs and high-fived the grads as they toured the school, twice. The seniors also visited with their former elementary teachers and shared some poignant moments.
There are currently 700 students enrolled in kindergarten through fifth grade. It is one of six elementary schools within the Arcadia Unified School District. Camino Grove reflects the community and state in enjoying a diverse ethnic population.
Camino Grove is proud of its many exciting programs and the progress of its students. The professional staff is committed to academic excellence and strives to provide an innovative instructional program that develops basic skills and critical and creative thinking abilities. In preparation for the challenges of the rapid technological advances of the next century, students must utilize technology to seek information and enhance learning.
