5th Annual Monrovia Music Fest Scheduled for June 3

The 5th annual Monrovia Music Fest is back June 3 from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Library Park. The event features a vast array of regional and national music throughout the day. The Fest features a craft beer garden, food trucks, artisans, vendors, art, free kids’ activity booths hosted by nonprofits, and the Bark Park where leashed, friendly dogs are welcome.
The first Monrovia Fest (formerly the Monrovia Days Music Festival) was created in 2014 by Monrovian and local business owner Carole Anne Kaufman, a two-time world champion music whistler known as The Whistling Diva. In an effort to reignite the community’s birthday celebration tradition, the Fest was born.
In 2015 Clara Mayer, a strategic marketing executive joined the team. In 2017, the event rebranded to become the Monrovia Music Fest and moved the date to expand the festivities.
The Monrovia Music Fest has become the biggest music festival in the San Gabriel Valley, east of Pasadena. “We are passionate about bringing communities together through music,” said Kaufman.
