Arcadia Recreation Department Invites Public to Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl, Featuring Diana Ross

Join the Recreation Department for an adult excursion to Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 6:00 to 11:30 p.m. The fee is $52 per person and includes a round trip ticket for the shuttle bus. Invite a few friends and pack a basket of picnic delights for a captivating evening of entertainment.

The evening will begin with an overture play by the brilliant Hollywood Bowl Orchestra (HBO), led by Principal Conductor Thomas Wilkins, followed by a special performance with members of Youth Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA) side-by-side with the HBO. Diana Ross will headline the evening, performing hits from her vast and historic catalogue of fan favorites accompanied by the HBO and Wilkins. Ross has had an iconic career spanning more than 50 years in the entertainment industry, including music, film, television, theater and fashion. Ross recently received the Grammy Awards’ highest recognition: The Lifetime Achievement Award. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display.
