A new report by AAA states that Americans will travel in near-record numbers this Memorial Day weekend (41.5 million) , the vast majority of which will be hitting the road (36.6 million, 4.7% more than last year).

To help with travel inspiration Lipton, which has been part of the All-American road trip for generations, collaborated with TripAdvisor to co-curate a list of must-visit road trip gems on Route 66. Of course, it isn’t a secret to Monrovia residents that Le Roy’s, known for its huge portions and home cooked meals, is worth the visit but Le Roy’s was just named as one of Lipton + TripAdvisor’s 2018 Must-Visit Road Trip Gems on Route 66.

In addition to Le Roy’s, the list features a dozen spots, ranging from amazing eats to incredible sights and sounds, spanning the highway’s 2,400 miles from Illinois all the way to California.
