Monrovia Days Festival Begins Friday

Monrovia Days is the annual community birthday party where all Monrovians gather together to celebrate talented youth, and the Scholars and Champions from the Monrovia Unified School District.  This year, Monrovia Days will be a three-day event starting Friday, May 18, 2018 and ending Sunday, May 20, 2018
The City of Monrovia, Monrovia Unified School District, and Centre Stage have coordinated a weekend full of activities including: a parade to honor the Scholars and Champions from the Monrovia Unified School District, performances by the city’s youth, the Famous Pie Eating Contest, live musical entertainment, a beer garden, carnival foods, games, and carnival rides.

If you purchase your tickets in advance online you will receive a $5 discount, but remember that your wristband must be picked-up at the Ticket Booth at Library Park starting May 18th at 4:30 p.m.

Ticket Prices

-Unlimited 3 Day Wristband: Pre-Sale: $35 | Day of (at Library Park): $40

-Unlimited 2 Day Wristband: Pre-Sale: $25 | Day of (at Library Park): $30

-Unlimited 1 Day: $15 | Day of (at Library Park): $20

Carnival rides will kick-off on Friday, May 18 at 5:00 p.m. The annual Parade honoring the Scholars and Champions from MUSD starts at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 19. The Merengue Pie Eating Contest will be on Saturday, May 19 at 5:00 p.m., with $500 in cash prizes. Performances by the city’s youth, carnival food, game booths, and the dunk tank will be available all three days.
