Councilmember Larry Spicer, Mayor Tom Adams and Councilmember Alex Blackburn honor Bill Curtis (second right) for helping to keep the streets of Old Town Monrovia clean. For five years, Bill Curtis has been picking up paper cups, napkins and other discards with his mechanical grabbing stick on Myrtle Avenue during his morning walks. Last Tuesday, the city council was on hand to say “Thank you, Bill.”
