Sierra Madre Public Library is hosting a special two-day workshop sponsored by the California State Library. The California Listens Digital Storytelling Workshop is set for Friday and Saturday May 11-12, 2018 from 9 am to 5 pm at Sierra Madre City Hall, located at 232 W. Sierra Madre Blvd. learn the basics of the digital storytelling process, and turn your story into a 2 to 4 minute video. The workshop is free, but pre-registration is required. To apply, visit: storycenter.org/sierramadre or submit an application to the Sierra Madre Public Library. Collected video stories will be become part of State and local archives of stories about what it means to be Californian.
