Pasadena Service Federal Credit Union will be at John Muir High School February 1 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (1905 Lincoln Ave. Pasadena, CA 91103).The goal of the Business Academy is to give students real world work experience. We want to take the learning out of the classroom and have students apply their skills in the real world.

John Muir high school is excited to partner with Pasadena Service FCU. PSFCU has strongly supported JMHS academy the last two years by coming in to do resume reviews, mock interviews and career fairs.

This program allows students to get work experience, acquire skills in finance, and have access to great adult mentors. The students will eventually teach financial literacy to other students at Muir through workshops and presentations. There is a real need for financial education whether students stay in business or not.

The students will learn to interact with customers, work in a business environment and leave John Muir better able to succeed in the real world.
