A fraud report was filed by a victim that placed a check for $15.00 in a US Post Office mailbox on October 27, 2017. On Nov. 18, 2017, the victim noticed that the check was cashed for the amount of $1,500.00 by a subject that the check was not originally made out to. On Nov. 28, 2017, the victim notified her bank.
Dec. 12
At about 7:48 p.m. officers responded to the 100 block of N. Canon Dr. for a possible burglary in progress. As the officers conducted an interior/exterior search of the location it was determined the burglary occurred earlier in the day. The suspect(s) forced entry by smashing a French door located to the rear of the location.
Dec. 13
Officers responded to 300 block of N. Sunnyside Ave. for a possible burglary in progress that occurred at 8:10 p.m. A witness called the station at 8:20 p.m. and advised that she saw two male subjects leave the location after an audible alarm was activated within the property. Officers arrived at the location and found that a rear glass French door had been shattered. The witness was able to provide the officers with a description of the vehicle.

Dec. 17
An officer on patrol saw a vehicle on the sidewalk in the 300 block of N. Baldwin Ave. at approximately 12:28 a.m. After stopping to render aid, it was determined that the driver was driving under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to the Pasadena Police jail for booking.
