City of Arcadia Playground Basketball League Now Open for Registration

The Recreation and Community Services Department is pleased to announce we are now taking registrations for the Youth Basketball League.

This league is designed to expose children to the fundamental skills of the sport while allowing them to experience team work and sportsmanship. The league is also organized to provide a fun, non-competitive, learning experience. Boys and Girls of all ability levels are encouraged to participate. The league fee is $40, and includes a jersey.

Practice is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Highland Oaks Elementary for the “C” Division Team, grades 3-4 from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. Practice is held on Mondays and Wednesdays for the “A” Division Team, grades 7-8, and “B” Division Team, grades 5-6 at Dana Middle School Gym from 3:30-5 p.m. Practices began Dec. 11 and will continue through March.

To register in person, stop by our office or go to the city’s website at www.arcadiaCA.gov under the Recreation and Community Services Department tab to download a copy.
