Four community meetings are scheduled for residents to learn more and ask questions about the proposed water rate adjustment prior to a formal Public Hearing that the City Council will conduct on Jan. 16, 2018.
The community meeting dates include:
Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m., Library Community Room
Saturday, Dec. 16, at 10 a.m., Library Community Room
Monday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m., Monrovia Community Center (119 West Palm Avenue)
Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018 at 7 p.m., Library Community Room
If adopted at the public hearing on Jan. 16, 2018, the new costs would become effective as of March 8, 2018, and would first appear on customers’ April 2018 bills. For more information, view the flyer on the City’s webpage.
