Royalty visited Wildrose Elementary School last week. Francesca Sola stars in the musical Beauty and the Beast. The proceeds from the production, another offering from the professional company that put in performances at the Taylor Performing Arts Center at Monrovia High School, will benefit the performing school district.
This year there will be five performances starting Thursday, Nov. 30 at 8 p.m. Additional performances will be given at Friday and Saturday nights, also at 8 p.m. Two matinees will also be given, one on Saturday at 2 p.m., the other on Sunday at 4 p.m. Tickets are available at Brown Paper Tickets (www.brownpaprertickets.com) and at Monrovia Travel on Myrtle Avenue. Tickets are $25 for general seating, VIP seating is $35. Reduced ticket prices are available for students, senior citizens and groups.
The best news is that all tickets are $10 at the Saturday matinee. This is a great chance to introduce the entire family to live theater.
