The 43rd Crop Walk was a great success on Sunday, according to Raina Mrtinez, Development and Donor Relations Director for Foothill Unity Center. This year it was held at St. Elizabeth Church in Altadena.
25 percent of the funds raised will benefit local food pantries including Foothill Unity Center, Friends In Deed, Holy Family Giving Bank, St. Vincent de Paul, ACTS food pantry and the Bad Weather Shelter. Flintridge students helped participants make signs and build awareness about hunger and clean water sources locally and globally.
