Pasadena Education Network Hosts Charity Poker Tournament
The Pasadena Education Network (PEN) presents their 8th Annual “Don’t Gamble with Our Kids’ Education” Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament on Friday, Oct. 27 at the Scott Pavilion, Pasadena Senior Center, 85 East Holly Street, Pasadena. Doors open at 6 p.m. with play beginning at 6:30 p.m. The money raised goes to support the nonprofit organization’s programs and services that help parents explore, evaluate, and engage with our local public schools as well as representing a collective voice for parents in the Pasadena Unified School District.
Beer, wine, soft drinks, snacks, and poker chips are included in the $50 ticket price. Re-buys are permitted during the first hour, and blackjack is available after poker play. Prizes are awarded to the top 10 finishers; past prizes have include Lakers and Rams tickets, Disneyland tickets, restaurant certificates, electronics, retail gift cards, and more.

Light dinner is available for purchase. Childcare is available at Kids Klub for a special discounted price.
